Rare 'Square Line' Easy Chairs by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, 1958
Set of three easy chairs from the ‘Square Line’ series designed in 1958 by Kho Liang Ie in collaboration with Theo Ruth, Frans Bergs & Jacques Weijenbergh. This model has a refined metal frame with a floating effect between the seat. Probably reupholstered at some point in a nice beige wool fabric. The seating cushion can also be removed for an even sleeker appearance. This model is only produced between 1958-1961 and rarely offered, let alone as a set of three.
