Pair of Mid-Century Side Tables in The Style of Jos De Mey, 1950s
Lovely pair of freestanding nightstands or (bed) side tables produced in Belgium during the 1950s. Made of a decorative wood combined with chromed handles and a black lacquered metal base. Each table has three drawers and a storage compartment, one with and one without a door. Both tables have a finished backside which means they can be used freestanding. Currently no maker confirmed but this design looks like a combination of Jos De Mey for Luxus and early Alfred Hendrickx. In nice original condition with small traces of use. We also have a matching chest of drawers available.
