Fantastic pair of ‘PK22’ easy chairs in natural wicker designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1956. This pair comes with the original cane seats with a great patina thanks to age and use after almost 40 years. These chairs are among the first productions by Fritz Hansen from 1986 and are labeled. In exceptional condition for their age with the cane still very straight and strong and no notable defects. Rare find.
Provenance: Bought in 1986 in Germany by the Goethe-Institut for their branch in Vancouver, Canada. About 15 years ago they came back to Europe with one of the employees who received them after the Institut moved to another location. Fun facts!
