Stunning and rare sideboard designed by Jos De Mey for Luxus (Kortrijk) during the 1950s. These early fifties designs by De Mey are very hard to find and much less known than his work for Van Den Berghe-Pauvers. So truly a great find and a magnificent sideboard with great finishing and details such as the sculpted drawers on the right and the brass handles on the sliding doors. The unique wood grain gives this piece a highly decorative touch. This sideboard has been completely restored to its original condition.
